The schematic design presupposes renovating the building while balancing the economic feasibility of the project with restoring an aesthetically appealing modernist landmark of Krasnodar.

In the course of drafting the schematic design, we analyzed historical photographs and archival drawings of the building.
The schematic design offers several solutions aiming to ensure that the facility functions in a more modern way while retaining its basic functions: retail, catering, and offices.

From an aesthetic point of view, the schematic design aimed to return the size of the building back to its original size. The document presented several solutions to compensate the building owner for the loss of space.
Moreover, the schematic design presupposed expanding modern and functionally-rich spaces for the residents. This element of the project is of utmost importance because the building is located in the city center.
